Lisa Bellano
ASSOCIATE COUNSEL
Lisa maintains a general civil litigation practice, with a varied background in corporate-commercial, real estate, family, and administrative law. Prior to joining MacIsaac & Company, she led a legal research project on child and youth capacity.
During law school, she interned with the Stephen Lewis Foundation and was a clinician at both the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program and the UBC Indigenous Community Legal Clinic. She also served as an assistant editor of the UBC Law Review and associate editor of the Canadian Journal of Family Law. She split her articles between two national law firms, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2019.
Lisa is an avid yogi, cook, and animal lover. Her favourite pastime outside of work is a tie between horseback-riding and making art.
